Dolomite Wins State of Nevada Contract

Dolomite Technology, leveraging its recent partnership with Double-Take Software, was recently announced as the Winner of a State of Nevada / Department of Motor Vehicles endeavor to improve its data backup and recovery capabilities. The agreement allows Dolomite Technology to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles with the ability to centralize backup of data across servers, increase response time of those backups, and allow for automatic fail-over should an event take place where the backup servers will need to kick-in.

The agreement calls for protection of multiple servers that are of key importance as well as three years of maintenance. The deal was announced on the State of Nevada website earlier this week and is expected to close within the next two weeks.

In most cases, Dolomite’s technicians can remote connect to the customer’s computer and help fix the computer problem, in just a few minutes.

When customers need to be shown how to do something on their computer, Dolomite technicians, after connecting to a customer’s computer, can take the computer user through step-by-step so they can see first hand what needs to happen. Dolomite can then let the user take control of the system and follow-thru the same steps to ensure that the process is done correctly.

This process of not only being able to resolve computer issues quickly, but of showing customer how to better use their computer systems, is one reason why Dolomite was voted as Nevada’s Best Computer Service company for the year 2007. Dolomite Launches New Help Desk Initiative

Dolomite Technology announced on February 6th, the availability of a new Help Desk Initiative to businesses seeking technical assistance. The program will provide users with technical assistance to resolve computer problems as well as to answer general questions on how a program might work.

Lexmark Partnership Agreement Announced

Dolomite Technology launched a new Partnership with Lexmark International, one of the premier Printer Supplies companies in the Computer & Technology Industry. To celebrate the partnership, Dolomite announced deep discounts on the complete printer line-up available from Lexmark. The partnership initially agreed to earlier this year, was completed at the end of November.

The agreement between Dolomite Technology, one of Las Vegas’s first Managed Service Providers, and Lexmark International, marks the second major partnership with a Technology Vendor by Dolomite Technology within the Last 30 days. Dolomite hopes to extend their service offerings in the near future to include Managed Print Services for business as well. The partnership with Lexmark is the first step towards that process.
